Yakuru was born from the shared vision of two Australians, Mandon Bossi and Stewart Adams, who set out to do something truly interesting and innovative in the world of wellness.

Passionate about the power of nature and driven by a desire to make a difference, they created Yakuru to bring together ancient wisdom and modern science in a way that resonates with people seeking balance, vitality, and transformation in their daily lives.

For Mandon, Yakuru is an extension of his lifelong connection to nature and his belief in its ability to heal and restore. With a creative spirit and a knack for doing things differently, he saw an opportunity to make wellness products that weren’t just functional but meaningful—helping people unlock their potential and feel their best every day.

For Stewart, the journey to Yakuru was deeply personal. After witnessing his mother’s struggle with MS (Multiple Sclerosis), he was inspired to explore how natural therapies could improve health and well-being. Together with Mandon, he channeled his passion for innovation into creating Yakuru, a brand that redefines wellness with products designed to work in harmony with the body.

Both Australians, Mandon and Stewart, wanted Yakuru to stand out—not just as a wellness brand but as something cool, innovative, and forward-thinking. They’ve infused Yakuru with their belief that wellness should be as exciting and empowering as it is transformative.

Growing up in Australia, my journey began on the rugby field, where I represented my state and played professionally at just 17. This early immersion in high-level sport sparked a lifelong fascination with human performance, health, and resilience.

After over a decade in IT and telecommunications, I founded Box HQ, a CrossFit and commercial gym that became home to elite athletes, including the Wests Tigers NRL team. My entrepreneurial spirit later led me to San Francisco, where I immersed myself in Silicon Valley before founding Chur Networks in 2016—a tech company focused on human behavior and indoor tracking.

Losing my mum to Multiple Sclerosis after her 33-year battle deeply influenced my commitment to helping others live healthier, more fulfilling lives. This personal journey inspired Yakuru, a brand dedicated to creating science-backed supplements that balance performance, recovery, and overall wellness.

Ever since I can remember, being active, inquisitive, and unable to stay still or indoors has been a core part of me—something I’ve always cherished and known was integral to whoI am.

My journey began on the field as a professional Australian Rules footballer, then evolved into a career in pro running. Searching for ways to maintain my health while embracing a naturally active, explorative lifestyle naturally became part of my way of living. Keeping performance, balance, and wellbeing at the center of my life has always been essential.

A transition to the U.S. brought me into the burgeoning cannabis industry, where I connected with experts in natural medicine who shared my passion for organic, self-healing practices. These experiences solidified my vision, ultimately inspiring me to co-found Yakuru Labs in 2020. With Yakuru, I sought to create more than just high-quality supplements; I wanted a lifestyle community dedicated to helping others infuse wellness into their everyday lives.

Today, Yakuru stands as a brand committed to empowering athletes, professionals, and individuals everywhere to live healthier, fuller lives by embracing vitality and balance.
